Gerald D. Dupre, 72, of Delaware Township, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2010. Born in Rhode Island, he resided in Louisiana and various places in New Jersey before moving to Delaware Township two years ago.
Dr. Dupre worked as a Chemist for Exxon for forty years until retiring in 2000. After retiring, he continued as a consultant. Gerald was a member of the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), Pittsburg Conference on Analytical Chemistry and Applied Spectroscopy, and Providence College Alumni.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 27 years, Carolyn Feiler Dupre; his children, William Dupre of Clearwater, FL, Vicky Samala and husband, Bob of Rio Rancho, NM, Dean Dupre and wife, Cathy of Clearwater, FL, David Feiler and wife, Regina of Highland Park, NJ, Jayson Dupre and wife, Jennifer of Schwenksville, PA; his eleven grandchildren, Quinn, Gabrielle, Esperanza, Abigail, Olivia, Alyza, Marissa, Emily, Michaela, Sara and Rebecca.
Viewing hours are Monday, February 22, 2010 from 10 AM to 12 PM with a Prayer Service at 12 PM. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Park, Monmouth Junction.
